Peshawar College of Engineering is the premier institution of engineering education in the private sector in NWFP. This College has been established with an aim to give quality education to its students by equipping them with the knowledge and skills that are vital in this fast changing world and to help them move from useful learning to a rewarding future.

This College was established in 1996 and located in a rental temporary campus in the Hayatabad Township scheme. In 1998 it shifted to its permanent campus in the Army Welfare Trust Housing Scheme. Far from the congested areas of Peshawar city it is located at about ten km from the Dry Port Peshawar on the famous Kohat Road. It has a self-owned and purposefully designed infra structure to accommodate a modern technical institution by any national and international standards. The campus enjoys facilities like playgrounds, hostel, mosque, and a nearby hospital. The College also offers pick-n-drop service to day scholars on nominal charges.

Objective and Functions

  1. To impart undergraduate education in Electrical Engineering and Computer System Engineering leading to the degree of Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in engineering to be awarded by the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) peshawar.
  2. To provide the concernd industry with skilled and highly trained manpower for the socio-economic welfare of the country.
  3. To train and produce really professional egineers with not only high scholarly qualities but also marked character of leadership.

Facilities at PCE

Library

A well equipped fully computerized library with text books, reference books and periodicals is provided for bonafide students and teachers to inculcate them the habit of reading and research work for various projects. The library is open for the students till late night.

Students are also encouraged to become members of Peshawar University Library, U.E.T. Library, British Council Library and other local Libraries. The College may help them by recommending their cases for these facilities.
